Privacy notice
What this site processes, why, and how to get rid of it.
The short version
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics tool and does no tracking. Personal data is only processed when you send me a message through the contact form.
Who is responsible
Ahmed Essam, independent CRM consultant, based in Cairo, Egypt.
Email: [email protected]
I am established outside the EU. Because this site offers services to people in the EU, the GDPR applies under Art. 3(2)(a), and the rights below are real rights you can use by emailing me. Data you send me is processed outside the EU, which is covered by Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR where it is needed to answer your request.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To deliver a page, the host processes technically necessary connection data such as your IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in running the site securely. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Contact form
When you send the form, your name, email address, company (if given), your message, the page language and the page you sent it from are emailed to me so I can answer you. Delivery runs through Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), region EU (eu-west-1), into my mailbox hosted by Zoho Corporation. Nothing is added to a newsletter or a marketing list.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is about a possible contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in answering enquiries. I keep enquiries as long as needed to deal with them and for the statutory retention periods after that.
Fonts and external content
All fonts are served from this site's own domain. There is no connection to Google Fonts or other font services. The CRM check on the home page runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing. Links to client websites and LinkedIn only open when you click them.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. A short email to the address above is enough. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live.
Right to object: where I process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).
